Photography is more than the image. Enter and explore - smell the impressions, taste the colour, feel the light. I'm Dirk Baumbach, I'm a german professional photographer. I work in both commercial and editorial photography, specialising in business and product photography, interior mood, nature and architecture. I have a strong love of landscape and work extensively with it.

From a very young age I have always been a visual person. The fascination of capturing light and mood on film has always been what enthralled me. Since leaving school I have been working as a musician. My photography grew from there, working with musicians, bands and artists.

Based in Cologne, I live with my family and work around North Rhine-Westphalia and the rest of Germany. Always looking for new challenges, I reach out to reflect the soul of each subject, person of landscape. A photograph should be so much more than a flat image. You deserve the same!
